Amazing and traditional spot to have breakfast with a view of the tram. The owner and employees are very friendly and always try to make an effort to understand what you are saying, despite only speaking Portuguese. If you come a couple days in a row the people in the neighborhood will welcome you with kindness. Ideal spot to get a pastel de nata!

Truly a gem and a favorite among locals. This is a cozy small cafe and bakery run by a lovely old couple. I came here on a morning walk and got myself treated to sweet and fresh aromas of pastries and coffee beans. Thank you for making my day.

Hidden gem down a little backstreet. Way cheaper than the tourist traps, everything is so delicious and fresh. Great spot for a coffee sat on the tables outside. Recommend the palmier and all of the pastries..

Lovely little bakery, and place to have an authentic Portuguese experience. Prices are extremely reasonable and great value. The place is clean and inviting. Delicious treats and coffee. Loved the Pastel de Nata.

Lovely quaint bakery. The owners are a lovely pair who only speak Portuguese. They were patient with me fast and efficient went two days in a row. This is an ideal palce for early risers.

What a gem of a place. Clean, friendly, and affordable. Gorgeous selection of pastries and delicious coffee. Way better than the over-priced newer establishments further up the road. We will be back!

More like brioche, not flaky, and the filling reminds me of Korean cream custard with a hint of orange flavor? And coffee was excellent and strong, great value for 75 cents! And you can get it to go.Excellent service. The man at the counter was very friendly and even though my Portuguese isn’t great he still made the effort to understand and was very polite and well-mannered. The pastries are good and reasonably priced. I recommend the freshly-squeezed orange juice. 5*

Hipster places are fine but the baking here will knock your socks off and while language might be a barrier, you can get by with a nice (and appreciated by the owners) bom dia to start your visit and pointing from there.

Our group of three ordered 4 pastries, two coffees, and a juice for less than 15 Euros. So affordable!! The food was amazing, really big portions especially if you're used to North American pastries. The mille feuilles was easily at least 4 north american servings, for less than the price of one! They don't speak great english, but it's easy to point and sort out what you want. Highly recommend coming here!

A trip for your taste buds with amazing Portuguese snacks. Our favorite was the chicken pie pastry and chocolate cone. The coffee was also great.

Lovely little bakery run by a very nice couple. Excellent food with pastries, cookies, sandwiches and more. The coffee is top notch with expert espresso pulls by the owners. Paninis are fresh and cooked to order. Limited English but didn’t affect order or experience. Highly recommended.

Great place! Really kind people, although I don't speak Portuguese and they don't speak a lot of English. We could somehow understand each other and had some great time in there. Pastry was really good. Came multiple times during my stay.
